Ggees provide a platform for interaction between ladies by providing social activites around owning a horse and promoting breast cancer awareness. In that way, women can meet other women on a common ground, strike up new friendships or business relationships... or just enjoy new people to go racing with. Ggees includes five functions a year that may include:
Introduction Dinner: To introduce all syndicate members to each other and make initial decisions that will include - Naming of the Horse, introduction to what racehorse ownership entails, information about your Owners Gold card, raceday ticketing entitlements, formation of the syndicate etc.
An evening with the Horse Trainer: A special evening will be arranged where all syndicate members can meet the trainer of your horse. You will be trated to a night that focuses on your horse. The trainer will brief you on your horses progress and will be avaliable to answer any of your questions.
Stable Visit: Once the horse is in its first racing preparation, ggees organise a Breakfast at the stable, coordinated with the trainer so the girls can come and visit their horse have their photo taken with her and see that she does actually exist and all is going well.
Breast Cancer Function; Ggees syndicate management will arrange a function to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, holding a Pink Ribbon Breakfast in the month of October each year. Breakfast is provided and ggees auction off many Pink items to raise money for NBCF.
Christmas Party: A christmas party will be hosted inviting members of not only your horse syndicate but all Ggees syndicates for a great social and business networking experience,
Gold Class Movies: We arrange a Sunday afternoon"chick flick" at Gold Class at the Jam Factory in South Yarra, food drinks and movie are all covered.
Networking Function: Dinners hosted by ggees whereby all ladies either already in a syndicate, or prospective and past members of Ggees are wined, dined and entertained by each other. Each guest needs to stand up and talk about what they do, why you are involved and what you expect to get out of the Ggees ownership experience. Great way to network and meet like minded ladies.
Raceday experience: Ggees syndicate management to arrange ticketing and perhaps a raceday function for the girls and their partners/friends depending on raceday, venue and number of attendants. Raceday functions can be organized both when the filly is racing and on other racedays as a form of social gathering.
Fashion, Millinery, Style nights: Ggees organize functions to receive discounts or special preview nights at clothing stores, milliners, educational events such as style night etc.
Celebration Party: When the filly wins a race - anywhere - ggees syndicate management will organise an after party so the girls can view the winning video time and time again and really feel the buzz that ownership can provide. Ggees also provides each owner with a copy of the winning video.
